welcome to Protension Composites

Protension Composites designs and manufactures preforms for the composites industry.

"We believe automated preform production is the future in terms of composite manufacturing techniques."

Protension preforms are three dimensional, dry fibre semi-products. The use of preforms cuts the need for manual lamination processes. Many different fibre architectures can be custom made according to exact specifications. Constant product quality relieves expensive quality control.

Coming from the well respected disciplinary group Design and Production of Composite Structures (Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands), we are able to offer you the high quality preform design you are looking for. And we have the tools and experience to turn them into reality.

Protension Composites also provides technical consultancy and is happy to assist your R&D in the fields of composite product design, composite materials and manufacturing techniques. In the applications section you can find an outline of our core expertise, but we are glad to take on other kinds of composite engineering challenges.

You are kindly invited to have a look at our website. Please feel free to contact us for whatever reason.
