Delft university of technology

Protension Composites holds a close relationship with the Aerospace disciplinary group of Design and Production of Composite Structures of Delft University of Technology. Protension can therefore dispose of the extensive knowledge and experience of the group. The high tech facilities of the aerospace structures and materials laboratory are used for efficient prototyping and testing. Protension keeps in touch with the latest academic developments by employing interns and graduate students on current and future projects.

DSM

The very first preforming technology of Protension Composites was developed in cooperation with Delft University of Technology and DSM. Over the years, Protension conducted several R&D projects for DSM. Today again, Protension is working on product- and manufacturing process design with DSM.

Lazer Helmets

In the field of preform testing and product performance optimisation Protension works together with Lazer Helmets. New preform types are used and tested in test samples of Lazer motorcycle helmets. By this cooperation, Protension receives quick industrial feed-back on new developments in preform design and manufacturing.

ABB

ABB Robotics technology is used at the base of our new test facility. Advanced industrial robotics allow us to efficiently build and test new process set-ups.
