Protension preforms are produced with filament winding techniques. Continuous dry fibre yarns are positioned fast and accurately. The preforms offer build-in flexibility for easy positioning into the moulding tool.

Preforms can be used in your current manufacturing environment, fully replacing all fibre cutting and lamination steps. The method of manufacturing the reinforcement is then fully automated, leading to constant high quality. Furthermore, the dedicated design of the reinforcement reduces waste. A good example is motorcycle helmet production.
